Today (27 Feb 2025), Pol. Gen. Kittirat Panphet, the national police chief, confirmed that the Thai authorities have indeed returned the Uighurs who were detained at the Suan Phlu Immigration Bureau Office, as reported in the news. A total of 40 Uighurs were sent to Chinese authorities to be taken to board a plane at Don Mueang Airport back to the Xinjiang Uighur Special Administrative Region, China, since early this morning. The other 8 people are Chinese who entered the country illegally, and are not Uighurs.
